On Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers, the City of El Segundo hosted a town hall meeting to learn about the City's Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, which outlines strategies and actions aimed at reducing the risks posed by natural and human-caused hazards such as floods, earthquakes, wildfires, and severe weather events. Please note, this plan only addresses potential natural hazards, not hazardous materials.
By identifying vulnerabilities and implementing proactive measures, we can enhance public safety, protect property, and safeguard our environment.
