On Thursday, November 2nd, the City of El Segundo, L.A. County and state leaders will gather for a ribbon cutting for the new Local Travel Network (LTN), created by the South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG). The LTN will support the growing local use of low-speed, zero-emission vehicles. Such devices include neighborhood electric vehicles (AKA NEVs or street-ready golf carts), e-bikes, pedal bikes, e-scooters and other similar devices. The network will eventually expand to connect the entire South Bay subregion through a 243-mile, low-speed route.

The event will also feature an ESPD police officer with materials about e-bike safety who will be available to answer any questions you may have about e-bike safety, how to register your e-bike or bicycle, and the use of the new Local Travel Network.
Hope to see you there!
